  • 2012-2013 was this company's first season in their new theatre building in Rhode Island, they formerly occupied Theatre by the Sea, and this company promises to be a great up and coming commercial theatre with much to offer. Housing is very comfortable (Marriott Residence Inn) with many amenities. Some will have private rooms and others may have 2 room apts. Currently they don’t provide cars but actors are shuttled to and fro as well as for shopping etc. They have a modest contract with Equity right now so the work is for resume-building and health weeks. The do hire some non union performers too and provide housing. They were understaffed in their first season so they were well aware of any short comings in management. Any problems were dealt with in an orderly manner though. And I’m sure all of this will be a thing of the past once they truly get in the groove of things. The integrity of the work is good and they aim high. Now there’s not much to do in Warwick but you’re right by the Trains so a trip to Provenience, Boston or the city is easy on a day off. And it’s right by the airport so car rentals are aplenty. All in all it was a positive place to work.
