  • I made $275/week which wasn't bad given the length of a contract there. The people were great to work with. You learn a lot about getting creative with very little to work with. Not great work space but they use it extremely well and the productions are of great quality.

Great people, surprisingly excellent show quality, great connections. Have to go in with a positive attitude, makes the summer much easier. Caliber of talent is generally very excellent for non eq...must be the 300+ people that show up for their ny call every year. They really get great people. Long work days. 14 hour days every day. Every 13 days you get a day off. It's a long but rewarding summer. High chances for getting hired back if you do your work. Children's theater. Most do 2 of 4 children's shows. Cast houses are ROUGH. Definitely the only real draw back. Opening night parties are awesome and theres 8 of them. Packed audiences, very loyal patrons that are excited to meet you. Really fun summer.
