  • They break a lot of equity rules

Housed in a gorgeous secluded house, cabin like, off the main roads. Although, since I was the smallest of the leads, I slept in the smallest room ( just big enough for a twin sized bed) but the house was a HUGE house. A car was definitely the only way to get around and shared it with cast members. Even though I was a biker, I wouldn't recommend biking there after dark since the house was truly in the boonies. Really depends on where you are housed. Wonderful people and professional atmosphere. Great break from the city. Yogis will love it.
  • The housing has improved drastically between the first and 2nd time i worked there. Gorgeous now, for the leading roles. (Can't speak for the current chorus housing). Theatre and staff are amazing... The only drawback is that there is nothing going on in pittsfield, and it is a trek back to the city. Not commutable, by any stretch. 4 hour drive, and inconvenient bus/train. Still, worth it for the other reasons.
  • The theater itself is fantastic however, there is not much going on in Pitsfield. Still a wonderful opportunity to work there as they bring in extraordinary talent and new work is encouraged. The housing has changed since I worked there. From what I remember, it was pretty nasty....but great people.
